I was shopping and bought some finger paints thinking that would be the best choice - just let him paint it all. THEN I found these no mess dye shaker thingies and I thought THAT would be the best choice. THEN I heard about these little q-tip like things that have dye in the stick part and then you crack it and the dye goes down to the tip and you paint with it. Now of course THAT was the best idea. I.was.wrong.
It was messy, Logan had very little interest in actually doing it. He would paint a little on the egg then pass it to me with a very loud, "ALL DONE!" And try to get out of his high chair. I kept say, "only one more... only one more..." and I swear if Logan could roll his eyes he would have.
Thankfully the pictures kind of make it look like he was into it.
When Logan got to his last egg he smashed it on his tray discovering that the "ball" was breakable. WOW - NOW this whole experience was fun for him. He smashed them.... peeled them.... poked them.... prodded them... mushed them... he really and truly is ALL BOY!
