Introducing Abigail Rae Wolfe

On Monday at 2:56 pm we welcomed Abigail Rae Wolfe into the world via a textbook c-section. Everything went great and she was perfect. 7 pounds 15 ounces and 18.5 inches long.

The surgery itself was fine. Not difficult for me of course - I just laid there. :) The recovery is no joke and has taken a lot of getting used to in that I need to take it easy. Not an easy thing for me.

I want to write more, but I also want to get this post up and I will for sure post more of a birth story and such very soon.

Daddy and his girl!

Introducing her to her Grandma while I was still in recovery.

Amazing big brother Logan meeting his new little sister. He is always referring to her as "My Abby" - it is very sweet.

Our first family picture!!

He loves her and that makes me so so happy.

The shirt my mom had made for him - so adorable!

A little nap with my girl

She is just beautiful and I can't help but stare at her. I would do it for hours on end if I could. She is perfectly perfect.

Her eyes are still a dark blue, but starting to get a little lighter each day. It amazes me a bit how much she and Logan look alike as babies. They have the same eyes/nose and maybe even mouth. Regardless - you can certainly tell they are brother and sister.

We have been home since last Thursday afternoon and life as a family of four is certainly an adjustment, but we are getting there. :) Much much more soon!
