No news

Good gosh - Another week has past and no posting from yours truly. That is pretty pathetic if you ask me! Let's see what I have I can post... not a whole heck of a lot of anything... Seriously - we are kind of just doing our thing these days. This past weekend Nathan and my dad went to the University of Michigan game together. Good Father- and Son-in-law bonding! Logan and I played all day. Sunday was more work at my grandmother's house so we can close on the sale and finally close that chapter of our lives. (She died 5 1/2 years ago!)

Last night we had a nice gentleman from Hanson's (window company) and show us some lovely new windows we could get for our house. We REALLY need them. I told myself before hand we wouldn't buy. I HATE spending money - especially a lot at one time. BUT - the deal was so good and temptation got the better of me and we signed on the dotted line. I woke up this morning - or rather - I toss and turned until 3:00 and then woke Nathan up and said we can't buy windows - we need to cancel. He said okay and rolled over. I continued to toss and turn. Logan must have felt my restlessness because he too was up A LOT last night! We called this morning to cancel. We have to send in a form to finish the cancellation process. Bottom line is we need them, BUT we were technically spending money that we didn't have just yet. Granted we'll have it in a few months, but Hanson's or whoever will still be in business then. We can revisit the idea at that time. I feel MUCH better with that choice for sure. I think tonight will be a good night of sleep for me!

Let's see - what I can post about Logan...
  • He must be teething again. The drool is back, the fussy face is back, the swollen gums. I just pray them come through soon. The poor boy NEEDS teeth. He only has 4 and while he eats like a champ... he typically doesn't chew anything and just swallows it whole. Lovely. (NOT!)
  • He is back on team mommy - LOVES me! I enjoyed his affection for daddy, but frankly I was getting jealous.
  • He also is totally in love with my dad. Grandpa showed up for the game on Saturday and Logan sprinted to him and wouldn't tolerate being put down for over 15 minutes. He just cuddled right in. It was adorable.
  • Daycare is going MUCH better. He has finally bonded with one of the teachers Wendy. She has worked at the center for 19 year and in the Toddler 1 room for the past 16! He runs right in the door and right to her arms. Makes me a happy mommy!
  • His favorite game to play is "this little piggy" with his toes. If he socks come off he walks over and puts his foot in my hand. I'm the only one that can do it though - he doesn't find anyone else as appealing. ha (I do voices for each toe!)
  • We started a new family tradition for most evenings. Wolfe Pack DANCE PARTY! I turn up the iTunes and we rock out in the living room! I even got Daddy to dance to Barbie Girl! (insert evil laugh!)
  • Logan loves to throw things - balls mostly. If he throws something else it usually results in him saying, "uh-oh" with a dramatic pause between each syllable. Cracks us up! But we try to hold it in so he isn't encouraged to throw anything he can get his hands on.

This weekend we are heading down to Lima, OH to visit Nathan's sister, her hubby and their 6 month old Liam! Should be fun and will include PHOTOS! YAY!

But for now I leave you with these lovely videos of Logan playing catch (although it seems more like fetch) with daddy! (there also is some great plummer's crack views of the Mr. Man and him demonstrating his ability to stomp on command!) ha!
