Orchard Fun 2009!

This morning we headed about 40 minutes north from here to an apple orchard called Spicers. We went with one of Logan's infant teachers Melissa and her girls. It was great fun! The weather was quite chilly as we got there around 9:30 or so. Logan was all bundled up nice and warm and was having a great time! We had some yummy donuts, played in a wood train and big boat (thing mini Noah's Ark). Then went on a hay ride to pick out pumpkins! Logan had a great time picking out our pumpkin. There were plenty of trips and falls, but he never even noticed it. (Typical of him. haha) I was really bummed when our camera died half way through the pumpkin patch. Oh well... the battery is charging down so it won't happen again any time soon! Then we went back to the play area. By this point there were a ton more people, but still pretty manageable.

Nathan and Logan went down the big inflatable bouncy slide and then we ventured over to the pony ride. I was really excited about the pony ride. I couldn't wait to get Logan on there. The second Nathan went to sit him on it - MELTDOWN! He had no interest in the pony at all. Thankfully they did give us our money back! A little bit more running round and then off we went. It was lunch time by then and we called my brother and stopped by there house so Logan could eat lunch as I knew he would fall asleep on the way home after all that fresh air and such. It is always nice to spend time with family and get a little time our niece and nephew! Then home for everyone to take a lovely nap. Logan was so great and slept for another hour and a half after 30 minutes in the car. Nathan and I were super excited about getting a nice long nap. Such a good baby boy.

A great fall day! Enjoy the photos!

Logan enjoyed playing conductor on the train! Daddy was a good passenger for him.

Then we went over to the ark and Logan really thought the port holes were great fun!

Off to the pumpking patch

Logan was on the hunt for the perfect pumpkin
