More sledding fun!

As I mentioned in my last post we took the kids out sledding Thursday morning. It was an utterly perfect day. 32 degrees, just enough snow for the little ones, no wind, nice and sunny. It was GREAT! Here are some photos from our time outside. I am not in any as I am NOT a sledder (is that a word?) Although I did go down the toboggan with Nathan and Sarah. (Back in the day my dad had a snow mobile and would pick us up at the bottom of the hill and bring us back to the top. That is sledding in style I tell you! But when that died so did my interest in sledding. Fat girl does NOT like to walk up hills - ever - and certainly not in the snow!) Anyway - here are some fun pictures!

Enjoy!

We started in the front yard going down the small hill...

Logan on the toboggan

Princess Piper on her sledding throne - such a serious little face.

All the kids getting pulled back to the top!

Tommy is all ready to go!

Down he goes!

Got a little smile out of Piper at the end of her trip down the hill.

Nathan pulling double duty

Love this picture of all three kids on the toboggan! So sweet!

Then we ventured down to the hill in the back yard. Bigger than the front yard, but smaller than the big hill...
Grandpa even hopped on a sled and went on down!

Daddy and Logan are all ready to head down. Do you think Nathan might be in need of some snow clothes? Me too. (Although he does have boots and a coat - just didn't bring them along.)

There they go! At the end of the yard is a creek, but you have to go through the bumpy garden to get there and that is usually enough to slow you down before you get to the creek!

Tommy took a break half way up the hill to make a snow angel.

Then we made it over to the BIG hill. Nathan and Logan went down, but I didn't catch a good picture of that. (We forgot our fancy camera and I just had mom's "I take forever to actually take a photo" point and shoot. I am happy though that I got as many good pictures as I did.)

There goes Sarah and Tommy! I wish I had a picture of Nathan and Logan. Logan was saying "weeee!!!!" before they even took off. He l.o.v.e.s. sledding!
