It is Michigan after all!

NATHAN IS HOME!!! YAY! He came rolling in around 10:15 last night. I was VERY happy to see him! This morning Logan about died when he saw his daddy in bed when momma took him back to our room. He was SOOO happy and gave Nathan lots of hugs and kisses before realizing he hadn't ever noticed our alarm clock and all the buttons on it. Daddy was old news at that point. ha!

Last night Logan and I celebrated our last momma/Logan night by doing some serious playing outside. If you look at my previous blog post Logan is wearing long pants and a jacket. Last night it was shorts, sandals and a t-shirt. The weather changes SO fast! BUT - Logan being the smart boy he is planned his outfit just in case... it is Michigan after all... It could have started snowing at any moment. Hence the winter hat:


And he was totally insistent upon it. He had it in hand and then I told him to go get his soccer ball and he dropped the hat. Then brought me the soccer ball and ran back to get his hat! lol Mean 'ol Momma took it off his head and hid it... this is the look he gave me:


He quickly got over it when he realized the sandals on his feet allowed him to feel the grass. If you recall last summer he HATED grass... apparently we will have to train in again to play in the grass. With the sandals on he was high stepping around the hard whining about it all. It was pretty comical. So we went back inside and changed his shoes and then he was good to go.

We played hard and he needed a break.

I hope you all have a fantastic weekend! Our niece Piper is turning TWO next week and her birthday party is today!! I'm super pumped, but it also means that three months ago LOGAN is turning two. I think I need to go lay down now... cuz that is just CRAZY talk.. my baby is a BABY!
