Out for a little ride

The days are getting shorter and shorter and cooler and cooler. But we have little spurts of warmth that go with the sunshine so that is great. We wanted to take advantage of what is left of nice weather and take Logan outside to burn off some energy! The past two nights we have given him free reign on his tricycle to speed on down the highway. (Aka: our very quiet road where only three cars drove down the whole time we were out.)

Logan peddles with lightning feet and goes like mad until his feet fly off and he coasts for a bit before he gets his feet back on and goes goes goes. The first night he road about a quarter mile and then walked/ran the rest of the way home. Last night he road the entire way but for the last two houses. (Those he ran! ha!) I think it is about a half mile - I think for a two year old that is pretty darn impressive!

Logan loves to crash his bike into things... momma and daddy's cars - rocks, grass, etc etc. And he yells - CRASH! cracks us up.

Taking a little break from riding to have daddy carry him around.

Our neighbors Judy and Larry - we love them! Logan absolutely adores them. They were off on their walk and stopped to say hi. Logan saw Larry a good block down the road and got off his bike and ran full speed to him. Larry was doing the same... all we were missing was slow motion, elevator music and a field of wild flowers. They are a blessing to all three of us and we couldn't ask for better next door neighbors!

I still need to write a post about Logan's first date on Tuesday... it was quite special! I'll try to do that this weekend. :-)
