Thankful for "da birdies!"

I hope everyone had a blessed Thanksgiving with your family and friends. Wasn't it nice to have a long weekend? I know I l.o.v.e.d. it! Hope you did too.

This great weekend will be broken up into numerous posts for the week as it was a FULL week of fun and joy with family (many of which also double as friends so it is very convenient like that!)

On Thursday morning we headed out to my parents after breakfast to help with the meal preparations. Logan had some chores to do when we first arrived. The main event was helping Grandpa feed the birds! Talk about a fun time for a two year old!

Getting the lay of the land and seeing how many birds he was needing to get seed for.

Taking the empty feeder into the garage for filling. Yes, he is wearing one of my dad's work gloves... just one though... that is how he rolls. :-)

Helping Grandpa pour the seed.

Carrying it back to the deck. He was so careful - it was cute.

They enjoy each other so much - it is so sweet.

Waiting for the hungry birds to show up and eat the sunflower seeds.

Happy boy with his grandpa

There is an out of focus Black Capped Chickadee!
Next up: the dessert prep, hanging out and yummy food.
