Logan wasn't a fan of picking out the guts of the pumpkin. The gut collection was Daddy's job.
The sheer panic in his eyes at the thought of being asked to stick his hand in the pumpkin. Cracks me up!
He eventually reached in, but didn't actually grab anything and was so upset when a little bit of guts got stuck to his arm.
Daddy went to feed Abby so Momma was in charge of carving. Logan picked the shapes of each feature and I did the cutting. It was a fun time.
The finished product! He was so pleased that it was a happy pumpkin with a big smile. I realized half way through pumpkin carving that I didn't really have any candles/tea lights to go in. The only thing I did have were birthday candles so I dug three holes in the bottom an stuck them in there. It worked quite well, but the flames didn't last very long. The boy was happy though - that is all that matters anyway.
