It was Abby's first Halloween and Logan's first time trick-or-treating. It was a great time. The weather was fairly decent so it wasn't too bad out. We walked a few streets over where there are lights and sidewalks and it was perfect.
Here is our little pumpkin all ready for her first outing. After a looooong day with VERY little sleep she slept while we were out walking around.
Logan is ready to go!
Our kids ready to head out for trick or treating!
Logan's first house. He did a great job walking up and down the sidewalks and such. This lady was so sweet with him and their house was decorated cute so it was a great house to start with.
I thought we did a pretty good job explaining to Logan the how-tos on trick or treating, but apparently I forgot the part about not walking into the people's homes. On his 4th or 5th house the old man opened his door and Logan opened it the rest of the way and walked right on it through the entry way and to the living room! I quickly ran up the sidewalk and profusely apologized! I explained he was still learning how to trick or treat. Thankfully the nice old man didn't seem too bothered.
After we were done in our neighborhood - we loaded in the car and headed to Great Aunt Me and Great Uncle Frank's house (my aunt and uncle.) They live a couple miles away and is a required trip on Halloween. They had a fog machine, spooky music and figures. Logan didn't want to go up, but I kept telling him it was Aunt Me and Uncle Frank's house, but Logan just kept repeating it was a "spooky house!" Once he saw Aunt Me he was happy to run up there thankfully.
