A trip to the fair!

On Saturday Nathan, Nathan's mom, Logan and I went to a local community fair. It was the perfect size fair for a little one. Three barns of different animals, barn of exhibits, tractors, food, rides, etc. We went there at 10:45 Saturday morning - there was hardly anyone there. The rides didn't open until 1:00 (we didn't plan on taking him on any of the rides - there weren't really any rides suitable for a little guy) and the fair parade was going on downtown. So literally we were the only people in some of the barns. PERFECT!

Logan loved the sheeps, goats and smaller animals. When we got the llamas and the horses he really wanted nothing to do with them. He enjoyed sitting on the tractors (we weren't supposed to sit on the tractors, but well - mommy broke the rules since no one was in the barn to tell me no! haha!)

We were able to go to the exhibit barn that had the baby picture contest winners. My mom entered Logan and my neice and nephew in it. Tommy came in 6th for his age, Piper came in 5th and Logan got 2nd! It was pretty cool! Mom had entered me when I was little and I won when I was Logan's age. It was fun to have him in it too. He loved his picture so much he decided to give it a kiss! HA!

We also found one of those displays where you stick your head in and take pictures... haha... Logan was pretty agreeable for the whole thing - especially considering he hadn't gotten a morning nap and he typically still does at home. We thought it was pretty darn cute that he actually stuck his head in there!

Hope you enjoy the photos!

Next post will be his baptism from Sunday! Such a wonderful day!
