Nathan had the day off yesterday, I didn't, but took it off with high hopes of great family time and outings and memory making and just a fantastic day of running around and fun! Instead we spent the entire day indoors. I ventured out during nap time to see a movie with a girlfriend, but beyond that we were air condition loungers!
It was actually a really great day! We played a ton and by the end of the day Logan was slap happy in fits of giggles and was exhausted. We went upstairs to go to bed and he cuddled right in for his song and then we talked about his day and he just kept say, "fun! fun!" It was a really sweet moment for Mommy and Logan.
However, between dinner and bedtime - we had a great time! Logan was in the greatest mood. I'm not sure if it was from how yummy dinner was or from helping mommy make dinner. We had stuffed shells and Logan held the shells open while I filled them and then he put them in the dish. He is a GREAT helper and it really encouraged me to figure out other things to make for dinner that Logan can help with!
After dinner he started asking for "spider" AKA the itsy bitsy spider... I think we sang it at least a dozen times. Half way through all our songs we took a break to go through all his body parts. He is an ace at body parts! Then a little later we started goofing around. Mommy was sitting upside down on the couch, joined shortly by Dad. Then of course Logan wanted in on the action. It was pretty funny - we were all giggling. Then Nathan flipped off the couch by kicking his feet over. Logan seemed to think that was the coolest thing ever and caught on pretty quick. He was so proud of himself. You might not understand at the end what he is saying in the video - he is saying, "I DID IT!!!" It is his new favorite thing to say.
(I have NO idea what order the videos are in, but enjoy!)
