Two year photos! EEK!

Did I really just make that the TITLE of my post?! Is my baby really almost two years old?!

We took our little man out on Saturday to take his two-year pictures. Up to this point we have always done pictures at Portrait Innovations. A great place, but we really wanted to capture who Logan is and not just the "oh look at him sit and smile."

So off we went with water bottles and camera in hand. Logan was such a trooper on that VERY hot day. We started off the morning at the railroad tracks near our house. I JUST LOVE THESE pictures. I think the capture all things Logan - his playfulness, curiosity, joy, silliness and everything in between. I also think it is clear what a handsome little boy he is becoming, but I'm utterly biased about it!

Our next stop was Nathan's pick. It was a graffiti covered underside of an overpass. Mommy was nervous about this at first, but I think it made for some cute moments. Although we did try hard to avoid the images of curse words everywhere and the large mural of the Storm Trooper pleasuring himself! HA! So funny. This first one I think is SO Logan. He is constantly talking and is always using his hands to get his point across. Granted we may not understand his long chats, but he is always quite deliberate with his gestures.

Our last location was a farm near my parents house. The lovely lady who owns it has known me since I was in utero and she attends the church I grew up in. I just LOVE her property. There is this beautiful old silo and a perfectly imperfect outhouse that still stands. I have always appreciated it and it was great to just let Logan run around and grab some great moments of him just being a kid!

My little guy is growing up so fast and he is just a complete joy, but I'll go on and on more when his official birthday rolls around on August 10th! EEK!
