Logan's First Tumbling Class

Finally the big day arrived! Logan's creative movement/tumbling class. It was heavy on the movement and light on the tumbling, but we'll get there I'm sure. It took Logan a little while to get the hang of it - he is clearly the youngest one there (and the only boy.) He really seemed to love it though. Lots of running and laughing - one crying fit in the corner, but that was more daddy's fault than anything else. ;-) Here are a few pictures:

They all were able to do the long roll to roll into the bowling pins. Logan was very pleased with himself - and he did knock them over even though the photo below makes it look otherwise.

There were 5 kids in the class and the parents spent most of the time laughing because the kids were so hilarious to watch. They played with handkerchiefs which is always fun.

My favorite moment from class came shortly after the photo below. The teacher managed to get all 5 kids lined up on the ballet bar and just as she was ready to tell them what to do Logan shouts, "READY SET GO!!!" And off all 5 kids ran across the room! ha! Thankfully the teacher thought it was more funny than anything else.

Listening to directions:

Not a great photo, but he was a rock star at walking across the "beam" and he launched himself off the end. Very cute!
He has 5 more classes and we are looking forward to each and every one. I hope they do a bit more tumbling and less "let's through the handkerchief in the air" but as long as he is having fun that is all that matters!

Very fun, very cute...he's a ham. We put Julian in a gymnastics/tumbling class at 19mo and have continued them each session since then...he LOVES them. It's once/week and lasts about 10wks with our park district. Isabella will start with him in January.

HAVE FUN!
