Little Logan Tidbits...

I want to make sure I write down little things about Logan at this age that I don't want to forget... here are a few of them...

1. Logan loves to say "bye" to everything. For example yesterday morning he woke up and wanted to go potty - since he was wearing footie pajamas that usually results in a naked Logan. He ran into our bedroom and climbed into Nathan's side of the bed and pulled up the covers and cuddled in. Eventually he got to playing and running back and forth between his room and ours and then grabbed his pajamas and says he is cold. So Nathan got him dressed and Logan says, "bye belly button.... bye naked...." ha! He says bye to all the characters of the show he may watch when the show is over. He asks us to say bye to every one of his stuffed animals and toys and such. It is cute.

2. Logan insists on sleeping with his Buzz Lightyear action figure... not a stuffed one. A hard plastic large, noise making Buzz Lightyear. We have finally got him to not push buttons after he goes to bed because Buzz is sleeping too. Although there are many mornings where I wake up to the sounds of Buzz! ha!

3. He is talking up a storm... it is adorable. If you ask him a question he doesn't know how to answer he just says part of the question back. For example, "Logan what color is that?" his response "color is that?" Logan can count, do his ABCs, but naming colors are hard for him. He can match colors, but putting a name on them doesn't really happen. He is young - I'm not worried. I just love all the stuff he talks about and says. It is like a new word explosion of words/thoughts every day.

4. A little story - on Saturday night we were on our way home from Nathan's parent's house. We were a little later than normal, but we were able to see the moon rise. It was huge and orange and beautiful! I pointed it out to Logan and his response, "No, it is Mars!" ha! We figured out he saw an episode of Mickey Mouse Clubhouse where Goofy goes to Mars. He knows what the moon is, but apparently the color threw him for a loop. It was cracking Nathan and I up though.

5. He is totally daytime potty trained now. He has had a one accident in the past two weeks and I think that is pretty awesome! I don't think he has woken up wet from a nap either so we really should be able to put him in just underware, but we still put him in a pull up. He took a 3 1/2 hour nap on Sunday and still woke up dry! Pretty awesome! He also doesn't typically need to be prompted to pee - he tells us when he has to go. Oh and he likes privacy when he is going to poop and every poop is "biiiiiiiiig poop Momma!" ha! He aparently doesn't have any other kind!

I just love this little guy so much. He is beyond a blessing and makes us laugh with his antics so often. He has no fear when it comes to jumping and being active. He starts swim lessons two weeks from today and I'm pretty sure he is going to love them. They are parent/toddler and he is going to do them with Nathan. They will have a great time!

Alright - time to get back to work.
