Muffins!

Logan loves helping in every way possible. With the potty training independence that he is experiencing we are seeing even more of his independent/helping spirit coming out. It really does warm our hearts and it really does frustrate us at times as well because it might not be something he should be helping with.

Thankfully with almost everything (other than the boiling pasta he wanted to pour down in the colander last night) we are able to find ways Logan can help. He finds such joy in it. Before I went down for the count with the sickness to end all sicknesses Logan and I made some apple muffins!
He had such a great time mixing up the batter and he was in charge of putting the liners in the muffin tin. When in came time for pouring the batter I was thankfully able to convince him that mommy should do that (not an easy task) and he was in charge of telling me which liner to fill! It worked perfect!

They baked while he was upstairs having his bath and were nice and warm for a bedtime snack. Logan loved them.... as you can see:
