A great weekend, baby update and 400th post!!

Let's see... since starting this blog when I first discovered I was pregnant with Logan in December of 2008 - this is my 400th blog post! Pretty crazy! It has been a great thing and I am enjoying being able to look back and see how far we have come over the past 3 years!

Last week I had my monthly OB appt. Everything was great. My weight is down a bit. A total of 14 since getting pregnant. The doctors aren't concerned as I am eating a healthy diet and following the gestational diabetes diet. My blood pressure was good which is off course my biggest concern in pregnancy after the best rest and early delivery with Logan. So far so good. 16 weeks now. I can't wait until June 1st when we find out if this little bundle is going to be Logan's little brother or sister! (Side note: my brother and his wife are expecting their third and are due a month before we are. They found out last Wed that they are having a BOY! EXCITING!!) I've felt the baby move a couple times a day. Nothing MAJOR, but I am so looking forward to big baby kicks!

This weekend was awesome on multiple levels. On Friday Logan and I headed out to my parents for the weekend. Nathan started demo on our bathroom renovation. BIG WEEKEND! More on the bathroom stuff later. But for now - the fun of Logan and my's part of the weekend.

We headed out Friday after work/daycare and met my mom for dinner. Friday night was just relaxing. I intended to get some scrapbooking and stuff done, but chose to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet of it all. My parents live out in the country and it is so so peaceful. Growing up out there I didn't appreciate it as much as I VERY much do now. Here are some pictures of how much Mr. Man enjoyed his time.

First up... he enjoyed his time in the hammock on the deck. There is a rope to help you swing back and forth. He loved it and was singing "Row Row Row Your Boat" while laying on the hammock.

Next up was breakfast in Grandpa's chair. Logan was up super early on Sunday and Momma wasn't feeling it so we had a quiet time of watching Toy Story 2. He was quiet pleased with himself in Grandpa's chair.

On Sunday the weather cleared up and got very nice and warm. We headed out for some playtime. Logan wanted to go down to Grandpa's work garage. First he found the butterfly net and was running around catching the puddles of water. Not exactly its use, but he was having fun. Then we played some basketball... Momma won since Logan had no chance of reaching the 10 foot net! ;)

Then Logan pulled out the tractor! This was my brothers and it has survived to be enjoyed by the grandkids! Logan loves it! It was his original desire for going down there in the first place.

Logan wanted to go back up to the front yard as soon as he heard Grandma was looking for her baseball glove. He pulled his new one out of the car and off they went to play catch in the front yard. I played with him for a while as well and it was a good time. It is interesting to be teaching our little left handed guy. But we are figuring it out. He is a quick study.

He quickly found that he was even better at counting dandelions... literally. ha!
He then wanted to put on Grandpa's hat and pose for a picture. (He put it right back on this morning after he got up. He loves this hat!)

After playing catch he and Grandma filled up one of the bird feeders for the second time this weekend. He loves filling the bird feeders!

Then it was break time for some juice and cookies. He wanted me to take a picture of his hat and him.

Then he quickly asked for a picture with Grandma. So cute!

It was a GREAT weekend. Logan is still out there as Mondays are Grandma days! Depending on how Nathan is feeling about the status of the bathroom. Either way he will be home tomorrow night! GOOD TIMES! I am feeling much more refreshed after a great weekend of lounging around and relaxing with my mom and Logan. Can't wait until the bathroom is finished so I can share all that!
