So on Friday Nathan was flying down to Florida to help his grandparents back up the rest of their stuff. (They are moving up here in the next month or so.) I had to him to the airport so my mom picked Logan up at daycare and took him home with her. I had planned on going out there early on Saturday. I woke up sicker than a dog Saturday morning and went to the urgent care place at noon to try and get some medicine and nip this nasty sickness in the butt before I started to sound like a barking seal. I went out to mom and dad's after that. Logan and I had a ton of fun playing and hanging out. I spent the night there since Nathan was gone in FL. I had planned on bringing Logan home yesterday with me, but then realized it was kind of silly to bring him home just to sleep and my mom have to drive in to watch him today. Since she takes care of him on Mondays (and Wednesdays) I decided it was best to just let him stay out there.
While I did miss him terribly and Nathan missed him when he got home from driving straight through from Florida we both had the best night of sleep. I don't think I ever woke up until the alarm went off for Nathan. I even planned ahead and took my shower last night so I slept in until about 10 minutes before I needed to leave for work. Got dressed and ate breakfast and out the door.
I am still missing Logan and have called and "talked" to him this morning, but WOW... it sure is wonderful to have a great night of uninterupted sleep! :-)
