Whoever invented this little toy is a Godsend to mommies out there! It was one of the few toys we registered for. We have had it since one of our showers. Finally a few weeks ago I started to use it to help him go to bed. With his lovely magical toy we can lay Logan down wide awake (and content and swaddled) - turn on his "Magic Music Machine" on the lullabies setting and BAM - he is out in less than five minutes. He will lay there and talk to himself or the music and then asleep he goes. I had been using it quite successfully at naps and also to put him down after a night feeding. It is nice to know we can put him down and he can fall asleep on his own. Last night he was just not wanting to go to sleep while being held (he took a late cat nap) so I laid him down and turned on the music and "ta-da" he is out! It is Mommy's new favorite thing!

ooooh.... that sounds nice! We have something similar... the Fisher Price Aquarium that plays music and has lights, etc. Its pretty mesmerizing, even for me!
