Then and Now!

I was going through some photos last night from when Logan was first born. Then I pulled up some photos from earlier this week and last night. It is amazing how much he really has changed. Being with Logan every day makes it hard to notice the drastic changes. (Other than how much bigger he is!) I still always thought his little face looked the same.... yeah.... not so much. :-)

Logan's first day in the NICU
Taking a snooze on the couch. He is still quite a peaceful sleeper. I wonder if the urge to check on him when I can't really hear him breathing will ever go away. Probably by high school. :-) haha!

Another NICU picture. I still hate seeing on those monitors and IVs and such hooked up to him. It was very stressful every time an alarm would go off. One would say he was fine the other would say his heartrate or breathing dropped. The nurse would laugh and say that isn't right.... pink babies don't have that problem. You can see on his right foot he has a monitor that checked his blood oxygen level. He would curl his toes around it and make that alarm go off all the time!

Such a BIG boy now. Has gone from premie diapers to size 2-3!

This is really where you can see the difference. He had a feeding tube in his mouth - it ended up in his nose for a while because he kept pulling it out of his mouth. Just like he did the ventilater when they tried hooking him up to that. He was just clearly showing them he didn't need it!

Thank God for the blessings of a happy, healthy baby!
Cereal is still going well. I tried to increase his feedings to two a day, but that lead to some major pain this morning. Logan was so constipated that he was turning beat red and screaming when he was pushing. Poor guy. The diaper was making things worse so I had to unfasten it so he could go. Talk about a rough start to the day. But as soon as he was done he was smiling and back to his happy self. I laid him down on his boppy to watch "Jack's Big Music Show" while I finished getting everything together for daycare. He was making the best singing cooing sounds. I was laughing. I came in and told him how funny I thought he was and he just beamed at me. He certainly knows how to make his mommy smile!
