Childless long weekend....

Tonight we are taking Logan to my parents house to begin his super fun grandkids weekend - AKA - G&G baseball camp! Totally! My parents are so excited about this and Logan and his cousins Thomas and Piper will be at Grandma and Grandpa's Friday, Saturday and Sunday and we'll pick him up when we head out for the family party on the 4th! GOODNESS, right? That is a lot of Nathan/Lindsey time!

My parents have been looking forward to this weekend for a couple months now and are taking it quite seriously. They sent my brother's family and ours camp registration packets in the mail that we had to return to them to sign the kids up, they have had camp t-shirts made and a list of super fun things to do a mile long. Everything from actually doing some fun baseball stuff at the ball park to the splash pad in town to picnics in the park to rubber duck races in the creek (or local river if my parent's creek is dried up) and much much more! How cool is this going to be, right?

Nathan and I have joked that we want to follow along and spy paparazzi style in the bushes with our long zoom lens. I think it is just going to be a blast for everyone involved!

So what are we going to do between tonight and Monday? We do have some stuff on the docket... The replacement crib for Abby's room arrived today so that will likely get put together at some point. I'm only working a half day tomorrow and will spend the rest of the afternoon in my little scrapbook room hopefully getting the last two projects for others done so I can focus on LINDSEY stuff! (I realized a couple days ago the last time I did any scrapbooking for our family was in the spring of 2009!!! Since then I've been so busy/burned out from doing scrapbook for hire I've had no time to enjoy it personally. SO GLAD that is changing!) Tomorrow night is going to be a stay-in date night of some sort. Saturday morning - SLEEP IN! Visit my cousin's family who are in from CA and then to a friend's house for a 4th of July cook out/carnival thing with fireworks. Sunday is going to be Nathan/Lindsey time and do whatever we feel like day. And Monday is 4th of July part at my parent's house! YIPEE!

I think we'll have a great time - get some much needed couple time and enjoy prepping for little miss who will be here before we know it!

That is our plan for the long weekend! Can't wait to recap next week with all the fun that was had by all!
