Monday started off with Grandpa's homemade french toast and sausage for breakfast - YUM! And then we quickly got ready and headed into town for the local Memorial Day parade. Logan was a ball of energy not really wanting to sit still - that is until the parade started. He was so into it - it was pretty adorable!
Here are a few pictures of all of us before the parade started.

By far Logan's favorite parts of the parade were the marching band and the horses. He announced to us when any horses were coming and talked about the parade off and on the rest of the day. It was all together pretty great. We loved that he was so into it!

It wasn't until the firetrucks and firemen came by that Logan really got into the whole waving part of the parade. He was waving so hard it looked as though his arm was going to fall off! So so funny. He was pleased as could be when someone actually waved back!

One of my favorite things... fly overs!!!

Someone discarded their flag on the ground. Logan was happy to pick it up, wave it around and take it home!

Once we arrived home Logan hopped in Grandpa's wagon for a trip around the yard. They even went across the bridge in the backyard and picked Momma a flower which Logan came RUNNING and YELLING in the house to deliver. He was quite pleased with himself!

Stomping through Grandpa's garden... they boy was having a ball. My parents have a fair amount of open land and Logan just loves being out there as we can let him just have a free for all! The live out in the country and it is fresh air, hardly any traffic and lots of hills and grass to play in. A FIELD DAY for a little boy like Logan!

We changed into our bathing suit and of course needed another quick drive of the tractor before we could switch gears to sprinkler fun. This time Logan drove!

WATER TIME! Logan was such a happy boy during this (shocker, right?!) At first he would only run around the outside edges and didn't want to go in too far, but after a few minutes he was following Daddy as they walked the same way through the middle of the sprinkler. Love his face in this one.

A quick break to take a picture with Grandpa in front of the Walnut tree he planted last year. It is growing fast!

In the above picture Logan said he was going to crawl through the sprinkler like a cat... this is apparently how a cat crawls in case there was any confusion.

With a little prompting from Grandpa and a demonstration from Daddy Logan was happy to give sitting on the sprinkler a try. Silly boy!

Aren't I just the luckiest girl to have these two guys in my life! Love them to bits!
After nap and some food Logan went fro another round of sprinkler time. He was so exhausted that he needed to take a break and eat two popsicles. He opted to lounge on one of the cushions from the deck. Looked quite comfy!
